I don’t know about you but I have always looked forward every year during the Christmas season to watching the “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. This special really sets the spirit of Christmas and allowed you to really feel bad for Chuck (Charlie Brown) in the heartwarming ending. The Peanuts gave you a great ensemble of characters that was relatable. I for one thought Snoopy was the coolest dog. Kicking back Sitting on top of the doghouse hanging with Woodstock. Linus who believed the great Pumpkin was coming to give treats to all kids on Halloween and was very attached to his blanket, we all been there where we wanted to believe in something great is going to happen and was let down. We also Know what it was to have something (Security Blanket) sentimental to us we just couldn’t let go of it. I had a Godzilla doll myself, ..I don’t want to talk about it, back to my tribute. Peppermint Patty – I just like saying that name” Peppermint Patty” who was the tomboy. She really walked to the beat of her own drum. Lucy – I actually went to school with a Lucy, I swear she was the same way. Take charge kind of person, not afraid to tell u like it is and knowledgeable. Of course Charlie Brown, the intuitive kid who always asked questions about life and in love with the little Red head girl, also one of the first to sport the bald look. The Peanuts really was a work of art. Brought to life through Newspapers and even bigger by the vehicle of animation. Who can forget the famous dance scene in the Christmas special?
